Blue Cruise Route
Marmaris - Datca - Marmaris
DAY 1: MARMARIS
Once everyone is onboard, the evening meal is served on
the boat. On the first day onboard, food service begins with
the evening meal. On the first night, overnight stay is at
Marmaris Harbour.
DAY 2: ARAP ISLAND BOZUKKALE
The boat leaves port after breakfast and a short
briefing, and sails to Arap Island, where lunch is served.
After a swim stop, leave for Bozukkale. The evening meal and
overnight stay at Bozukkale, known as Loryma in ancient
history.
DAY 3: DATCA
Depart for Datca after breakfast. Datca is a charming,
small town. Guests are free to partake in our half-day trip
to the ancient city of Knidos (extra). Overnight stay is at
Datca Harbour or a cove nearby.
DAY 4: AKTUR BENCIK
Depart for Aktur after breakfast. Aktur is to the north
of Hisaronu Bay. Later, move onto Bencik Bay. The evening
meal and overnight stay here.
DAY 5: SELIMIYE or ORHANIYE
Visit either Selimiye or Orhaniye cove, situated deep
within Hisaronu Bay; guests may take part in our jeep safari
tour (extra).
DAY 6: DIRSEK COVE BOZBURUN
Depart for Dirsek Cove after breakfast. Bozburun inlet
is the next stop. Bozburun is one of the few towns in Turkey
where wooden gulets are built. Overnight stay is at Bozburun
or a cove nearby.
DAY 7: KADIRGA MARMARIS
After breakfast, depart for Kadirga or Kumlubuk
depending on availability; move onto Cennet Island after
lunch. Reaching Marmaris, overnight stay is at Marmaris
Harbour.
Highlights of the voyage
Bozukkale (ancient Loryma) with ruins of a Hellenistic
fortress ashore.
Serce Limani once the resting place of the Glass Wreck
the artifacts from which are now on display at Bodrums
Museum of Underwarter Archaeology.
Exploration of Marmaris the old town and the busy bazaar.
What to bring with me ?
T-shirts & Shorts.
Light pants or skirts and tops for evening meals.
Bathing Suits.
Sun Block (SPF 15-30)
Beach Cover Ups.
Soft soled shoes for the top sides of the boat. Bare feet
below decks please.
Sport (comfortable flat) shoes for going on the shore.
Swimming shoes.
There are 2-PINS electrical plugs on board, 220 V when the
generator / engine is on and in the ports. If you use
different plugs, like UK plugs please do bring adapters with
you.
Your favourite CD's or tapes.
Camera. Batteries, chargers and socket adaptors
(conversion plugs), they can be expensive / unavailable in
Turkey.
Hats and sunglasses.
Fishing gear if you are so inclined, but rods are
available for use.
Snorkelling gear if you are so inclined, but masks and
flippers are available for use.
Burn remedies and soothers.
Foul weather gear (if you are the pessimistic type).
Beach Towels/blankets. Bath towels are supplied for use
aboard the boat, large beach towels aren't. Beach Towels can
be bought in Marmaris, in case you do not want to carry
them.
Seasickness remedies, if anyone in your party is prone to
this ailment.
Soft sided luggage or duffel bags. Your yacht won't have
"conventional" closets. Hard sided luggage often presents
storage problems.
Bug repellent.
Medications
Anything you can't do without for a day.
