Marmaris - Fethiye - Marmaris
DAY 1: MARMARIS
Arriving at Marmaris, you are transported to Marmaris
harbour. Bar Street parallels the harbour and may be visited
at night. Evening meal and overnight stay on the boat. On
the first day onboard, food service begins with the evening
meal.
DAY 2: EKINCIK
After breakfast, your guide will provide brief
information on the site, and then you set off for Ekincik
Bay. Lunch is served at the bay. We offer a Dalyan tour
(extra) as an excursion from here. This includes a trip
along the Dalyan River, seeing the Carian rock tombs, a mud
bath, and a rest stop at famous Iztuzu Beach. Returning to
the boat in the evening, overnight stay is at Ekincik Bay.
DAY 3: AGALIMANI BATIKHAMAM (SUNKEN TURKISH BATH)
KIZILADA
To make good of the morning wind, the captain will swing
past Cape Disibilmez before you awaken. If youre lucky, you
might see dolphins in this area. Breakfast is served at
Tersane Island, after which you visit the beautiful sunken
Turkish bath. Overnight stay at Kizilada.
DAY 4: FETHIYE
Arrive at Fethiye Harbour early in the morning.
Replenish water and provisions at the port. We also offer
the option of a jeep safari tour in Fethiye (extra). The
jeeps will come and pick you up after breakfast; sightseeing
in Saklikent and Tlos, a mud bath at the river, and a visit
to a carpet weaving cooperative are included. Lunch will be
provided on the tour. The evening meal is served onboard,
overnight stay at Fethiye Harbour.
DAY 5: GOCEK ISLAND - YASSICA
After breakfast, depart from Fethiye Harbour for Gocek
Island. After a number of swim stops, a visit to Yassýca
Islands; snorkeling in the crystal clear waters here is
recommended.
DAY 6: BEDRI RAHMI SARSALA AGALIMANI
After breakfast, sail to the spectacularly stunning
Bedri Rahmi Bay, named after a famous Turkish painter, and
Sarsala. Reach Agalimani before lunch. Overnight stay in
this lovely bay.
DAY 7: KADIRGA CENNET ISLAND
After breakfast, depending on the weather, depart early
for Cape Kadirga with swim stops along the way. Tea is
served at 5 pm somewhere in the vicinity of Cennet Island,
then we sail to Marmaris port. Overnight stay at Marmaris
Harbour.
DAY 8 : MARMARIS HARBOUR
Get ready for your transfer after breakfast, and
disembark.
Highlights of the voyage
The coast from Marmaris to Fethiye is often referred to as
the Golden coast of Turkey. Delightful riverside town of
Dalyan and the nearby ruins of ancient Caunos: a theatre,
Roman bath, Byzantine church and acropolis. An opportunity
to swim from Istuzu Beach, known as Turtle Beach, and to see
Caretta Caretta sea turtles. Sightseeing in Fethiye, ancient
Telmessos. Shopping in Marmaris Bazaar.
What to bring with me ?
T-shirts & Shorts.
Light pants or skirts and tops for evening meals.
Bathing Suits.
Sun Block (SPF 15-30)
Beach Cover Ups.
Soft soled shoes for the top sides of the boat. Bare feet
below decks please.
Sport (comfortable flat) shoes for going on the shore.
Swimming shoes.
There are 2-PINS electrical plugs on board, 220 V when the
generator / engine is on and in the ports. If you use
different plugs, like UK plugs please do bring adapters with
you.
Your favourite CD's or tapes.
Camera. Batteries, chargers and socket adaptors
(conversion plugs), they can be expensive / unavailable in
Turkey.
Hats and sunglasses.
Fishing gear if you are so inclined, but rods are
available for use.
Snorkelling gear if you are so inclined, but masks and
flippers are available for use.
Burn remedies and soothers.
Foul weather gear (if you are the pessimistic type).
Beach Towels/blankets. Bath towels are supplied for use
aboard the boat, large beach towels aren't. Beach Towels can
be bought in Marmaris, in case you do not want to carry
them.
Seasickness remedies, if anyone in your party is prone to
this ailment.
Soft sided luggage or duffel bags. Your yacht won't have
"conventional" closets. Hard sided luggage often presents
storage problems.
Bug repellent.
Medications
Anything you can't do without for a day.
