BOZBURUN, MARMARIS - TURKEY
Bozburun is an elegant town on the coast, opposite the Greek
Island “Simi”. It is 50 kilometres from Marmaris.
Bozburun is famous for its special yachts named “Gulets”.
This is where they are built. The Bozburun breeze attracts
sailboats of all sizes. Bozburun also draws divers from all
over the World with its many little bays. Due to the nature
of the coastline, the sea is very clean and clear. Enjoj
gazing into the depths of the crystal clear water.
Bozburun is an ideal location for a holiday due to its clean
and quiet environment. Almond trees, thyme, honey and fish
are widely found in this area. The name “Bozburun” comes
from the area’s geographical characteristics. “Boz” means
“Gray” “Gray Mountains” and “Burun” means “Nose”, namely a
point of land reaching to the sea. |
